My good friend Lesley recently wrote about having to change once you've learned something new about your self (and you don't like it). See her Time Scarcity Illusion

Coaching is designed for communication exchange that will highlight alternate possibilities of viewpoint, in the hope of opening up blind spots.
How often do you seek coaching I wonder? I think once a month is good and I haven't had 1:1 coaching myself for a few months now; I'd like to get back to it! But for general progress I find coaching through a peer group works just fine. My view of coaching in that its core essence of giving people space to grow is a desirable life skill for all. I like to foster peer coaching groups for that reason, because it gives a place to practice coaching skills and gives some insight what it might be like to step into being coached 1:1 with a coach.
